Campbell Bears Football Program Information

  • Our season starts August 1, and we practice 10 hours per week.
  • After Labor Day practice is cut back to 6 hours per week.
  • Games are played on Saturday or Sunday depending on field and referee availability.
  • Our season consists of 8 games, starting after Labor Day, followed by a round robin playoff system.
  • At the conclusion of our local playoff games our Champions participate in the Regional Championship held over Thanksgiving weekend. If they are successful at this event they will be eligible to participate at the National Football Championship. To be eligible to participate in these events the participant's must meet the national scholastic eligibility requirements. Which are currently a G.P.A. of 2.0 or the participants school approval to participate.

  • There will also be a qualified person who can administer first aid present at all times.
  • At the beginning of every practice and game the participant will go through a through exercise routine to stretch and warm up.
  • Before any participant can participate in any physical contact drills they will have gone through ten hours of intensive physical conditioning.
